The bank caters to private banking customers; private, corporate, and public sector clients; institutions; small and medium enterprises; and public law corporations. It was formerly known as Aargauische Bank and changed its name to Aargauische Kantonalbank in January, 1913. Aargauische Kantonalbank was founded in 1855 and is based in Aarau, Switzerland.
