The GaBi software system has been used daily in the past few years since the release of version 3 or the performance-enhanced 3v2 by a large number of customers as well as, of course, the IKP and PE International. Here the user interface and the functionality were tested intensively for their suitability to actual practice. The change and improvement proposals were combined into a continuous process by the GaBi development team and served as the basis for the total concept of the GaBi 4 version.
In terms of functionality and speed, GaBi 4 is a milestone in the development of GaBi software and in the history of eco-balance software in general. The software was expanded and/or perfected to an enormous extent in several central areas. Despite extensive changes, GaBi 4 is completely compatible with GaBi 3 or GaBi 3V2. Therefore all studies can be imported to GaBi 4 format without a loss of information.
