GaBi Modelling Principles

The goal of the GaBi Modelling Principles is to transparently document the environment, background, important aspects and details of the GaBi databases, as well as the basis of the models. It contains:

  • Description of the database management which is an important aspect of professional databases in practise
  • Database upgrade and maintenance procedures and strategies
  • General and sector- or expert-specific methodological aspects


These documents are the basis of all GaBi databases, the professional database and the extension databases, as well as all data-on-demand datasets.
